Chiranjeevi’s dual variation in the film will keep the audience hooked to the narration- says Director Guru Deshpande

Chiranjeevi Sarja is going to play a blind role in his upcoming movie Samhaara. The film will be directed by Kannada Film-maker Guru Deshpande. The shooting has been done long back and the trailer which came out created a great buzz among the fans.
Chiranjeevi will be seen in two different variations where once he will be see a great success being a chief but is blind since childhood and runs a successful restaurant and on the other hand the next variation see that he has a normal eye-sight and will indulging his romantic interests.
This interesting variation will keep the audience hooked to the narration believes Guru Deshpande. “Samhaara is a revenge drama (as one can guess from its name itself). Why does he (the protagonist) seek revenge? Against whom? and how does he destroy his enemies and where? Is the story of the film,” said Deshpande.

“We had films in Kannada with blind protagonists in the past. But, we have not seen blind heroes in action sequences. So I wanted to show a visually-impaired hero, who can fight,” he said.

On been asked about the success of Chiranjeevi as a blind chef in the film, Deshpande says that “He is a chef and he has the heightened sense of smell. He uses it to find his targets and engage them. He can also find his opponents using the sounds of their movement.”

The movie will have two leading actress- Haripriya and Kavya Shetty. Composer Ravi Basrur has scored the music for the film. Even Kannada movie star Puneeth Rajkumar has sung a romantic song for it. Samhaara is gearing up for a release by the end of December this year.
