Box Office Tashan – Padman V/s Aiyaari

Spread the love

26 January is indeed a great day for our country. But this republic is also bagged with more excitement as we will get to see two amazing movies releasing together on the same day. Now the question is who will do better? Which movie is audience going to love the most? Will the competition be too tough?

‘Padman’ presents the story based on Arunachalam Muruganantham who revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine. Whereas ‘Aiyaary’ revolves around two strong-minded army officers sharing a mentor-protege bond who have completely different views, yet right in their own ways. The fun fact is that ‘Aiyaary’’s director Neeraj Pandey and ‘Padman’’s actor Akshay had been reported to have a heated argument on work back in June this year over the distribution rights of Toilet. The actor director duo has been really good together & contributed great movies to Bollywood namely ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’, ‘Rustom’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Naam Shabana’, which received love and appreciation from not just the audience but also the critics.

Shankar’s 2.0, which was also to release on the same day but got postponed to April, could have been another major contender for this Box Office Battle. Starring Rajnikanth & Akshay Kumar is touted to be the most expensive Indian film ever made, with a staggering budget of Rs 450 crore – from talented star cast to VFX to the lavish audio launch.

It is surely going to very impatient moment for the audience to know who works how.
