Hichki Movie Review : Rani Mukerji’s Comeback Is Applaudable !
Rani’s comeback in the industry has made the great way for her .Rani Mukerji’s Comeback Is Applaudable ! The film Hichki is based on the lady who is suffering from Tourette Syndrome and dream to be a teacher. The way she follows is ‘There are no bad students, only bad teachers’, says Rani Mukerji’s character that is Naina Mathur in the film. Every single scene in the film is so powerful that leaves you with a lump in your throat! Well, Hichki is made up of heart-warming moments which make you laugh and at the same time teary.
The film belives in the teaching method which a teacher follows to educate her students. But, the journey isn’t as smooth as it sounds; especially when she has her own sets of hurdles in the form of her own ‘hichkis’ to overcome. What comes as a wonderful surprise is that the film connects the audience at each and every step .
The best part of the film was of course Rani Mukerji and her student as they were the USP of the film and they took the film to the great level. Experiencing this film was the great pleasure as the content of the film was the strongest.
At the same time talking about the flaws of the film, the film was dragged a bit and gets repetitive in some parts as it could have been better at the visual and dialogue parts. And after watching the film one thing was not clear to me that while we know that Rani teaches Maths and Science to the kids, it’s unclear about the rest of the subjects.
Another drawback is the film’s music which lacks a recall value. A set of good songs could have been a bonus here but it was average as the song connect to the situations of the film. After watching the film you will be forced to think about the Hichki of you life.I n a nutshell, here comes a ‘feel-good’ film with a remarkable performance by Rani Mukerji. She gives you enough reasons to embrace this ‘hichki’ with a smile.
