Gully Boy will start its shooting from January

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen screening together for the first time in the movie Gully Boy which is going to be Zoya Akhtar’s film.
Zoya Akhtar announced at the start of the year about the film and also confirmed about the stars. She said that the movie will start its shooting in January and will be released by the end of the year 2018.
In Gully Boy Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a role of a desi rapper who starts his journey from the slum of Mumbai and ends up been a rapper. Alia’s role is not been disclosed yet.
Zoya Akhtar also confirmed the new faces to the add in cast of Gully Boy. She said, “There is Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Amrita Subhash, Vijay Raaz, Sheeba Chadda and more, I am mean they are coming on”
The Gully Boy is co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. It will be produced by Excel Entertainments.
Zoya Akhtar also praises Farhan Akhtar for his successful film Fukrey Returns. She said that “It is unabashed and unapologetic fun, and it is tight. I like what he has done with the characters and carried them on to the next film, it is very tight in a way. So you must watch it. It is a laugh. I like all four of them in the film and Richa Chadda”
On the other hand Ranveer Singh is waiting for all the controversy to get over and film Padmavati to get release soon, wherein Alia Bhatt is wrapping the film Razzi, helmed by Meghna Gulzar.
Last film directed by Zoya Akhtar was Dil Dhadakne Do. Apart from Gully Boy, she, along with Reema Kagti is working on a story for Amazon Prime web series. It is titled Made in Heaven and is about two wedding planners, and will be produced by Excel Entertainment.
